Arena R1 2022 Results

Ready to race!

Results and times from the first round of the Arena League have been received and updated on the swimmer’s records on Swim Club Manager.   

 A fantastic effort from our swimmers at Hutton Moor with a total of 22 PB’s set.  The whole team swam out of their skins and put their hard work in training to good use.    

 Amongst those PB’s were 4 new club records – well done to the following:   

 Phil D – breaking his own record from 2018 for the 100 Fly and taking nearly a second off to set the new bar for 25+ swimmers at 1:03.90   

 Reece L – taking a full 10 seconds off the 19-24yr age group record last set in 2013 by Nick Harper.  Reece’s time of 1:02.87 is now the new record.   

 Ailsa M – took 2 records in the 12yr age group, the 100 fly and 100 back.  Both records were previously set in 2017.  

In the fly, Ailsa took a second off the previous record held by Leah E and the time to beat is now 1.14.11 

In the back Ailsa took over 4 seconds off the previous record held by Becca H and the new time to beat is 1:11.28   

 There were also some swims amongst the team which were just fractions outside of being a new club record… and it won’t be long before we see more record breakers amongst the team.   

 Well done to all the swimmers and a big congratulations to all our new record holders.
