Arena League Round 1 Results

Fantastic swimming from #TeamBackwell in our debut in Division 1 of the National Arena League.  Team finished 3rd overall and the coach on the way back was buzzing (both the mechanical one and the human ones!).

Thanks to all officials and helpers for ensuring we hosted a successful gala!

1st Torfaen Dolphins 278, 2nd West Dorset 227, 3rd Backwell 193, 4th Carn Brae 181,  5th Cirencester 180,  6th Tornadoes of South Dorset 170,  7th West Wilts Force Five 159

A total of 2 x 1sts, 6 x 2nds, 13 x 3rds helped us to finish in the top 3 against tough competition.

There were an amazing 19 PB's and 4 new club records set today.. well done to Phil D in the 200 IM (25+), Reece L in the 100 back (15yr), Ellie H in the 200IM (15yr) and Rebecca G in the 100 Back (16yr) in setting the new standards!
