ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 
Thursday 27 February 2020 
Backwell Swimming Pool (Party Room by squash courts)
 
6:30-7pm:  Parent/guardian talk for Stages, Minnows and Marlins 
7:00 - 8:00pm:  AGM 
 
Please attend BSC's next talk (if relevant to your child) and AGM, details above.  Doughnuts will be provided but on a more serious note, communication is key and, as you hopefully know, we have spent a lot of time and effort seeking to improve communication and to engender the "Team Backwell" spirit.  We can only do that with your support and the AGM is an opportunity to get together and share key information.  
 
We are also desperately seeking a new Welfare Officer, Swim Mark Co-Ordinator and Volunteer Coordinator.  We also desperately need volunteer officials, team managers and other key roles to be filled.  We would love you to get more involved in the club - it can only run with a team of volunteers and more hands make light work (and it’s fun!).
 
I am required to circulate certain information beforehand and so to this end, please see attached:
 
1.     Agenda for forthcoming AGM (containing details of proposed resolutions and nominations);
 
2.      Minutes from last year's AGM
 
3.     Copy Existing Constitution, Proposed New Constitution (to follow) & Draft Concerns Policy (to follow); and
 
4.   Accounts information (which Treasurer will talk through at AGM
