Cotswold Round 2 Results

1st coach trip since Nov 2018!

It's been a long time since #TeamBackwell went on the road on a coach trip... the last time was November 2018 for the Arena League in Plymouth.  So, it was with great excitement that the new generation (and some of the old generation) of #TeamBackwell boarded the coach for round 2 of the Cotswold League 2022.  Our destination was Monmouth School Swimming pool for the gala hosted by Cinderford Swimming Club.  Alongside Cinderford we were also swimming against Bath Dolphins and another dolphin club .. Dursley Dolphins.

Despite the later than expected start (due to Bath Dolphins getting lost on their way to the pool) our swimmers did themselves exceptionally proud.  A total of 22 Personal Bests on the night and a fabulous team spirit which helped lift every swimmer competing for #TeamBackwel.

Great to see so many of our new younger swimmers doing so well and enjoying the experience of competing in an "away" pool

Thanks to all the #TeamBackwell volunteers and coaches for ensuring the event went smoothly.  Without our amazing volunteers we would simply not be able to give our swimmers these competitive experiences.  If you want to join the #TeamBackwell volunteer gang please speak with one of the coaches during training.
