Great swimming from our young #TeamBackwell members at the Spring round of the Four Seasons gala.  Lots of swimmers showing great technique and determination in a tough competition against City of Bristol, Burnham, Bridgewater, Clevedon and Cheddar Kingfishers.  For a number of our swimmers it was their first experience of a gala and it was great to see such an amazing team spirit throughout the gala.  Everyone left the gala with a huge smile on their face which is what it's all about afterall!

Thanks to all our volunteers for helping on the night to ensure the swimmers all knew what they were doing and where they needed to be.  It was great to have some new faces on poolside supporting the team.  Special thanks to our young volunteers Ruby W and Oli J who helped make sure the swimmers didn't false start at relays and gave such great encouragement to the younger members of #TeamBackwell.
